Urea nitridation. 4 kg to 5 kg of urea is fully dissolved in 40 kg to 50 kg of water, and a solution is sprayed on 100 kg of straw (spray a layer) and it is turned and pressed. Until the outlet (cellar) mouth 30 ~ 50 cm, the top is tapered, sealed with a film. The ammoniation time is 2 to 3 weeks in summer, 3 to 6 weeks in spring and 8 weeks in winter. Ammonia can be taken after use. Each time a day's feed is taken, the removed straw should be spread out when it is ventilated on a clean floor until it has no pungent taste. Containers should be sealed after taking straw to prevent water ingress. All ammoniated straw can also be taken out and dried, and then re-stacked in the room to be covered with a film. If the water content of the straw is too high, the seal is not strict or it is not dried in time after opening, white, gray, brownish black, sticky or agglomerated, pungent odor, etc. cannot be fed to the livestock. 4. Lime treatment. (1) Soaking and spraying. The straw (cut into 3 to 5 cm long) is immersed in lime water with a concentration of 1% to 3% in a ratio of 1:2 to 2.5 for 2 to 3 days, and is taken out on a sloped ground for more than 1 day. Adding 1% to 1.5% of salt in the straw to increase the palatability of the straw. (2) Sprinkling method, spread the chopped straw on the matted cement floor, spray it several times with lime water, stack it, soften it, and take it after 1~2 days.
