The operation process of the tape initial tack tester :

1 Place the test instrument on the test bench flat with a standard angle of 30°, even if the runway is at an angle of 30° to the horizontal.

2 According to the regulations, the adhesive surface of the polyester film is attached to the glass panel to form a roller-supporting section, and no air bubbles or wrinkles can be generated when pasting.

3 Put a test piece with a size of 80mmX100mm, with the backing up, and fix it from the bottom end of the glass plate of the millimeter paper. When it is fixed, it cannot be warped or bulged. If it is bulged at the edge part , use another adhesive tape to fix this part on the inclined surface.

4 The steel balls of different types to be stored in the anti-rust solution are taken out with tweezers, rubbed with a degreasing dust-free cloth and dried with water, repeatedly cleaned and dried, placed at the starting point of the runway, and placed in the same test piece. through

The roll-up section is free to roll down, and the ball of the large model of Zui is picked out from the various balls that have stopped in the measurement section (the ball does not move for more than 5 seconds), and is ready for formal testing.

5 In the formal test, take three samples and use a zui large steel ball to perform a ball test. If a sample cannot stick to the ball, you can use a steel ball smaller than the one. Perform a test on the three specimens. When performing the second test on the same specimen, adjust the starting position of the rolling of the steel ball to ensure that the rolling path of the ball is not in the same position, avoiding errors in the test values. If you still can't stick, you need to re-test according to step 7.4. If it can stick, it can be used as the initial viscometer for more than 5 seconds.

6 If the piece to be tested is thick, the ball may roll down to the test piece and there may be a bounce phenomenon, which will affect the test result. In this case, we will place the test piece directly below the runway starting point and divide it on the test record sheet.

Test Results

The test results are expressed as the median (ball number) of the steel ball number of the three sample ball test results at the time of the formal test.
