The sheep house floor is an important part of the sheep building and has a direct impact on the health of the sheep.

1. Earthy ground

It belongs to warm ground (soft ground) type. Earthy ground is soft, elastic and not smooth, easy to keep warm, and low cost. The disadvantage is that it is not strong enough, it is prone to small pits, it is not easy to clean and disinfect, and it is easy to form a humid environment. When using earthy ground, lime can be mixed to enhance the firmness of loess, and can also be used on the ground of Sanhe Soil (lime: gravel: clay = 1:2:4).

2, brick ground

It is of the cold floor (hard ground) type. Due to the more voids in the brick, the thermal conductivity is small and it has certain insulation properties. Adult ewes have a lot of mixed urine and sewage, which is easy to cause bad environment. Because bricks are easy to absorb a lot of water, destroy their own thermal conductivity and become cold and hard. After the tile floor absorbs water, it is easy to form pits due to its characteristics of being easy to break and freezing, and it is inconvenient for cleaning and disinfection. Therefore, when using the brick floor, bricks are easy to erect and should not be tiled.

3, cement floor

It belongs to hard ground. Its advantages are strong, impervious, and easy to clean and disinfect. The disadvantages are high cost, too hard ground, high thermal conductivity, and poor insulation properties. In order to prevent the floor from being slippery, the surface can be made into a matte surface.

4, leak seam floor

Intensively raised sheep houses can be constructed with slatted floors, constructed with cement slivers that are 3.8 centimeters thick and 6 to 8 centimeters wide with a spacing of 1.5 to 2.0 centimeters. Leaking floor sheep houses need to be equipped with sewage treatment equipment, and the cost is relatively high. Foreign large sheep farms and some sheep farms in southern China have been widely used. In order to prevent moisture, such sheep houses can be dismissed and dissipated every other day. At the same time, the manure should be cleared in time so as not to pollute the air in the house.
