Integrated prevention and control of cucumber diseases and pests in greenhouses

In the conditions of greenhouse facilities, the relative humidity of the air is high, and cucumbers are prone to diseases and insect pests. Comprehensive measures should be taken to prevent and control them.

I. Agricultural control

(1) Use resistant varieties. The cucumber varieties with resistance to wilt disease include Jinyou 30 and Jinyou 10, and the varieties of anti-virus diseases include Ningfeng 4, Zhongnong 6 and Zhongnong 14, and the varieties with downy mildew resistance are Ningfeng 4, Jin. Excellent No. 10, etc., powdery mildew resistant varieties are Jinyou No. 10, Jinyou No. 30 and so on. According to the occurrence of local diseases, select suitable varieties. (2) Seed treatment. Soak the seeds with warm water, soak them in warm water of 55°C for 15 minutes or soak in warm water of 50°C for 20-30 minutes, or treat the seeds with seed dressing and seeds. (3) Cultivate strong seedlings. Remove the dead leaves and weeds in the field, use the nutrition seedlings to grow seedlings, use nutrient-free soils, and mask the insecticide and sterilize. Application of organic fertilizer, strengthen seedbed management. Selection of disease-free and strong seedlings. (4) Deep tillage. Deep-cultivation sunburn can turn underground pests and pathogens to the surface, and can be eaten by natural enemies or frozen in cold, which reduces the number of pests and worms. It can also loosen the soil, favoring the development of roots of cucurbits and improving plant resistance. (5) Scientific fertilization. Mainly organic fertilizer, appropriate chemical fertilizers, increased phosphorus and potassium fertilizers and various trace fertilizers. Apply enough base fertilizer to apply fertilizer topdressing and spray foliar fertilizer. (6) Grafting and disease prevention. The use of sunspot pumpkin seedlings as rootstock grafted cucumber seedlings to control the occurrence of fusarium wilt.

Second, physical control

(1) Light trapping. Use incandescent lamps, high-pressure mercury lamps, black light lamps, vibration-type insecticidal lamps, etc. to trap and kill pests. (2) Swatches, color film repellents, and trapping and killing pests. Using the tropism of yellow locusts such as aphids, whiteflies, and leafminers, yellow insect traps stick to aphids, whitefly, and spotted fly in the field. (3) Solar soil disinfection. During the summer high temperature leisure season, soil temperature is increased by covering the plastic film for a long time to kill pests and germs in the soil. After the fall, greenhouse cucumber cultivation is also suitable for this method. (4) Reasonably regulate temperature and humidity. Reasonably controlling the temperature and humidity in the shed is conducive to the growth of cucumber and increase the resistance of the plants. The use of covering the no-drop film, laying the film, laying straw, irrigation under the membrane and other measures to reduce the greenhouse humidity, control the occurrence of disease. High-temperature stuffy shed measures can prevent cucumber downy mildew.
