When the reporter inquired about the difference between the two types of tea, the clerk first said: “The tea inside is definitely not the same!” When a reporter asks what kind of tea is in the two gift boxes, the clerk first looks at it separately. Look at the labels of the two types of tea, and then change the way: "Perhaps the packaging is different. We do not know the specific level."

So, is the national standard for Tieguanyin tea labelled on the label? The reporter found out that the marked “GB/2762” is only a national standard for contaminants in foods, and “GB/2763” is the national standard for the maximum residue of pesticides in foods, not the national standard for Tieguanyin tea. The reporter saw a counter at the tea shop of Zijinshan Road, a supermarket of the RT-Mart supermarket. It is selling a canned tea that is labeled as produced by Xinhaiyuan Tea Co., Ltd. of Xinyang, Henan Province. In addition to the well-known Xinyang Maojian, there are many varieties such as Tieguanyin, Pu'er, and Biluochun. Looking at these tea leaves, the grade column on the package is all labeled "AA". The reporter asked the clerk, “Is this 'AA' level in the end a high or low grade?” The clerk did not answer, but said: “You can rest assured that the sale is still good.” In addition, the reporter carefully examined the packaging of the product, Did not see the origin and ingredients of various tea leaves.

The reporter learned from the department of industry and commerce that the national standard stipulates the “Quality Grade, Special Grade, First Grade, Second Grade, Third Grade, and Fourth Grade” for Henan Xinyang Maojian. There is no “AA” grade on the label. The level is created by the company. The Food Safety Law clearly stipulates that ingredients or ingredients must be marked on food labels. Ingredient refers to any substance used in the manufacture or processing of food, and present in the product, including food additives. If labels are not labeled as such, it obviously does not meet the national food safety standards. For such products, consumers are advised not to purchase.
